Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd has finally decided to launch the first ever electric vehicle from Porsche named Porche Taycan. It will hit the Indian roads in the beginning of the year 2021.
Its is made with a high-voltage lithium-ion battery which has a massive capacity of 93.4kWh. Not only this but it also has range of 280 miles (412km) in Turbo and around 256miles (approx. 340km). The battery can be charged from 5% to 80% within a short span of 22 minutes thanks to the 800-volt architecture. It it highly comfortable as well as accessible due toc various hardware and software. Additionally it also has true Porsche fashion, and is fitted with active air suspension (PASM), chassis control (PDCC), rear-axle steering, torque vectoring (PTV Plus) etc. Also they have a battery which caters a range of 250km from 79.2kWh battery. The price at which it will be available for selling would be anything around INR 2-4cr.

The 800-volt architecture allows quick charging from 5 to 80 per cent in around 22 minutes. In true Porsche fashion, the Taycan is fitted with active air suspension (PASM), chassis control (PDCC), rear-axle steering, torque vectoring (PTV Plus) and many other hardware and software to make it precise yet accessible. There’s also an affordable trim with 390kW (523bhp) and a range of 250km from 79.2kWh battery pack. The estimated prices decided by the company is around 2-4cr and the car will be out in January 2021.
