Trailer of Diljit Dosanjh starrer ‘Jogi’ is OUT: Film based on 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots!!

Diljit Dosanjh is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Jogi. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and the trailer of Jogi is out now. Also starring Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Amyra Dastur, Hiten Tejwani and Kumud Mishra. Jogi will release on Netflix oon 16th September, 2022. The trailer was shared by Netflix on its official Instagram page. Talking about the film, it revolves around three friends trying to survive in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

The caption to Netflix’s post about the Jogi trailer read, “Jinke hausle buland ho, unki himmat todna namumkin hota hai. Aisa hi hai sadda Jogi. Watch @diljitdosanjh in and as Jogi – a story about friendship, courage and hope. Out on 16th September, only on Netflix! (sic).”

The trailer of Diljit Dosanjh’s film Jogi offers spine-chilling glimpses of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. The trailer begins with Diljit having breakfast with his family members. But as soon as gunshots are fired, Diljit attempts to flee the city with his family and travels to Punjab. Jogi’s trailer suggests that the exodus was ‘the biggest human heist’ ever witnessed.
