Unexpected Celebrities caught up in Drugs Case!

On Sunday Bollywood’s King Khan’s son, Aryan Khan was arrested by NCB, the Narcotics Control Bureau at a Rave Party with banned drugs onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast to Goa for a voyage. But it’s not the 1st case of a celebrity being arrested for drug-related issues. Below is the list of the celebrities who were caught up in drug-related issues.

1)  Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa

This happy-go-lucky couple was arrested by NCB when 86.5 grams were recovered from their house and office in Andheri.

2) Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone was called by NCB for questioning when her chats from 2017 were leaked and the chats included a message “MAAL HAI KYA?” from Deepika which indicated that she was asking for drugs. 1.7 grams of charas and at least two bottles of cannabis (CBD) oil was also found at her Versova residence.

3) Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt’s story and his drug issues are known to the world after his biopic ‘Sanju’ starring Ranbir Kapoor. He was arrested even before the bomb blast case in 1993 for the possession of illegal substances. He spent 5 months in jail in 1982.

4) Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. AKA The Iron Man had an at the age of 6 was exposed to drugs and alcohol. As he grew up he started his acting career for which he used to get sober but eventually would bounce back to the addiction once the movie is done. He has been arrested on several occasions due to his addiction to drugs. At one such instance after his arrest, he was sent to rehabilitation which he escaped, and that lead him to jail.

5) Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan was also an addict and he was arrested by Mumbai Police in 2001. He was caught with 9gms of Cocaine. He had a detoxification course to get rid of the habit in the same year.

6) Mamta Kulkarni

Mamta Kulkarni was famous in B-town in the 90s. But in 2018 she was accused of being a part of India’s biggest Drugs racket. Thane Police seized 20 tonnes of ephedrine and drugs of around Rs 2,000 crore were confiscated during the police raid in 2018.
