Vivo S12 Pro renders, key specs seem to have leaked online

Vivo S12 Pro specifications are tipped to include a 108-megapixel triple rear camera, a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. Vivo S12 Pro can be the first phone in the series to have a curved display.

Vivo S12 Pro has been spotted online in official-looking renders, which suggests that the company is working to add the rumored Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro to its S-series smartphone lineup. The Vivo S12 Pro is expected to sport a large notch display that is likely to house a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The renders suggest that the handset could also be the first in the series to sport a curved display. According to the tipster, the Vivo S12 Pro will also have a triple rear camera setup.

The official looking render of the Vivo S12 Pro shared by a tipster on Vivo reveals that the Vivo S12 Pro will come with two front-facing cameras housed in a rectangular notch on the display. As per the renders, the Vivo S12 Pro could come with curved edges on both the sides of the panel, making it the first handset in the S-series to sport a curved display.

According to the tipster, the Vivo S12 Pro will house a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens for the selfie camera, with a center-align notch above the full-HD display. The second front-facing camera is said to be an 8-megapixel camera for ultra-wide photography. Meanwhile, another tipster known as Digital Chat Station has posted on Weibo that the smartphone will feature a 108-megapixel triple rear camera unit.

Launched earlier this year, the Vivo S10 Pro had MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC and supported 44W charging. Digital Chat Station has indicated to launch the smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. According to the tipster, the Vivo S12 Pro is expected to feature better charging and performance than its predecessor and will run on the latest OriginOS Ocean UI.

Older reports suggest that the Vivo S12 Pro could feature both a curved display and a 50-megapixel main camera. The smartphone was previously launched alongside the Oppo Reno 7 series, which was launched in China on November 25. Vivo is yet to announce plans to launch either the Vivo S12 or the Vivo S12 Pro or both the teased specifications of the smartphone.
