BJP leader and actress Sonali Phogat passes away due to heart attack in Goa

Actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat passed away Monday night in Goa after suffering a heart attack, according to a family member. Phogat went to Goa with some of her staff. She died at Grand Leoney Resort in Anjuna, where she went for a gathering. She was 43 years old.

She uploaded a video to her official Instagram account hours before her death, showing off a pink  head wrap with the song “Rukh se jara nikab to hata do just hazoor” by Mohammad Rafi being play in the background. She also updated the outfit on her Twitter profile picture.

In one of the most watched races in Haryana, the 43-year-old actress made her electoral debut in 2019 when she faced off against Kuldeep Bishnoi, a three-term MP and son of a former minister on two occasions.

While TikTok is still around in India, Sonali Phogat rose to prominence as a Bigg Boss 14 contestant and wild card entry.
