WhatsApp may soon allow users to reply to messages, with emojis

WhatsApp is working on the possibility of replying to messages in a future update. Feedback will be found at the bottom of the message, you can tap on any one of them and react to the message.

More iterations have been reported by WhatsApp to facilitate rumor message responses. This was seen in the past as well, and it essentially allows users to react to a specific message in a chat. A new Feedback Information tab is seen under development, so users can easily see who replied to a message. Message feedback is reported to be available in individual chat threads and group chat threads. In the upcoming feature of WhatsApp, users are likely to get the facility to react to messages using different emoji.

WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp is planning to release the possibility to reply to messages in a future update. The feature is said to be under development and may not even be available in the latest beta. While the responses will appear at the bottom of the message, there is a separate Feedback Information tab that will let users see who replied to the message.

The tipster has shared a screenshot of the new React Info tab. It is seen that all the reactions are listed in the first tab called “All”, then WhatsApp groups that react to a message using a specific emoji, in a separate tab. WABetaInfo reports that a user will be able to react to a specific message once and the responses are limited to six emoji.

The feature has been spotted during the development of WhatsApp beta for iOS, but WhatsApp is reportedly working on bringing the same capability to WhatsApp beta for Android as well.

WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp for desktop users recently got a new custom sticker tool that allows users to create stickers using photos from a computer. This feature is being rolled out for Mac and PC users. Earlier, users had to use third party apps to create their own stickers before sending them on WhatsApp. This feature is being rolled out for Mac and PC users.
